MEMORANDUM <br /> Date: July 20, 1994 <br /> From: Bob Hammitt <br /> To: City Councilor Paul Nicholson <br /> Subject: Washburn Park <br /> Hi Paul , I wanted to make you aware that we have issued a Special Event Park <br /> Use Permit to a film production company for a filming to occur on August 13, <br /> 1994 at Washburn Park. The company has paid us the standard $500.00 use fee. <br /> Washburn Park is one of the 16 parks that we no longer irrigate as part of the <br /> Eugene Decisions reductions. The production company wanted a green grass <br /> setting, so has made an agreement with an abutting property owner to use <br /> water to irrigate the area. They will begin irrigation later this week. <br /> Since Washburn Park is in your Ward, I wanted to make you aware of what was <br /> occuring in case you are contacted by constituents.
