MEMORANDUM
Date: September 7, 1993
From: Bob Hammitt
To: Chris Andersen
Subject: SHELDON CENTER/POOL PARKING PROJECT
Attached is a memo and note sent to me by Doug Post. I did not recall that we
agreed to write the memo and thought that the memo was going to come from Jim
Johnson to the Council . Am I incorrect?
Doug's memo seems to focus too heavily on participant impact and enhancement
of the existing facility. I thought from our discussion that we were going to
focus the need for the parking lot on elimination of safety and over crowding
problems. As this project was described by Jim and Doug, it is really a two-
phased project. The current CIP will only cover costs for the entrance
modifications. We will have to come back through the budget process to
actually expand the parking lot. Seems to me that if we don't explain the
full scope of the project in our memo to Council , we will create a credibility
problem for ourselves.
Seems liks we need to sort out memo content and who is the author. Do you
want me to do more on this or will you follow up with Jim??
Attachments
(1106)el\
