This free family event will feature entertainment for ail <br /> including kids activities, music, juggling, and other entertainment_ And there's more! Check out <br /> the hybrid car and electric bicycle displays. the solar sunrover and educational and <br /> environmental exhibits_ Catch one of the scheduled tour buses to Short Mountain Facility Plant, <br /> where landfill gases are captured and turned into electricity! <br /> You won't want to miss the Procession of All Species Parade where we celebrate all creatures <br /> great and small. Don your favorite masks, costumes or representation of plvnts and animals for <br /> the 2:00 procession. Meet at the corner of Broadway and Willamette, where the dynamic <br /> Brazilian Troupe, Samba Ja, will lead the parade as it winds through the blocks of downtown, <br /> Saturday Market and resumes at the Broadway Plaza_ <br /> Before you leave home, grab your old athletic shoes to donate to the reuse-a-shoe program — a <br /> creative recycling campaign that will grind up the shoes to use for sports surfacing. If you can, <br /> bike on down to Earth Day and get a free registration number stamped on your bike for easy <br /> identification in the event of theft or loss.
