The new plan will build upon current planning efforts, providing a vision for <br /> facilities and services, as well as practical steps for achieving that vision. The open house is one of several opportunities <br /> residents will have to provide input. A community survey will be conducted this fall to get residents' ideas about park and <br /> recreation needs. Mayor Torrey has appointed an advisory committee to help guide the 18-month comprehensive <br /> planning process with an interdisciplinary committee of City staff serving as the project management team.
