<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />August 14, 2015 <br /> <br />CONTACT: Damon Joyner, Surface Maintenance Supervisor, 541-682-4835 <br /> <br />From Public Information Section, 541-682-5523 or 541-954-2938 <br /> <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> <br /> <br />Traffic Advisory <br />Watch for Lane Closures on Northwest Expressway on Wednesday <br />Motorists should expect congestion and delays on Wednesday, Aug. 19, as crews from <br />Eugene Public Works Maintenance repair a section of Northwest Expressway near Maxwell Road. <br />The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on a 300-foot-long section of the <br />northbound lane on Northwest Expressway between the Maxwell Connector and the Maxwell <br />overpass. Traffic will be limited to a single lane controlled by flaggers. Use of alternate routes is <br />recommended. <br />In addition to fixing the deteriorated surface on the expressway, the crews will be testing a <br />new asphalt milling machine called the Asphalt Zipper.
