The City's attorney has been reviewing this issue to verify all processes were <br /> followed correctly and the tax due is appropriate.After their review,we have adjusted how the back taxes <br /> are allocated to the tenants. <br /> Pursuant to Section 4.1 in the contract document,the lessee shall pay a prorata share of the operating <br /> costs,including real estate taxes and assessments.The-prorata share is stated in this section to be 6.13% <br /> for the contract years 2008 and 2009,and drops to 2.0%for years 2,010--2014.
