They want Eugene to be the same as <br /> other communities with regard to trees. <br /> Developers: Information, code interpretation, requirements. <br /> Timely, accurate, verbal. <br /> Inspections. <br /> Pruning to accommodate construction. <br /> Park Users: Aesthetic improvements -- planting, pruning, cottonwood cleaning. <br /> Dead trees preserved for wildlife. <br /> Dangerous trees made less hazardous. <br /> Environmental design to prevent muggings -- safety <br /> Other Departments: <br /> Engineering: Immediate service, expertise in up -front design as well as in the middle of <br /> a project when changes which impact trees come up on -site.
