Develop a policy and procedure manual for all of the Urban Forestry program. <br /> STRATEGY 2: <br /> Provide education and consensus - building of program staff (increase staff professionalism) <br /> (Refine operational coordination to work better together). <br /> Objective 2: 50% of crew members certified by ISA by 1999. <br /> Objective 2a: Yearly staff questionnaire results show 90% satisfaction with program direction. <br /> Work Activities: <br /> 1. Develop a training /development plan for staff aimed at getting certified by International <br /> Society of Arborists. <br /> 2. Contact University and other education sources for volunteers to provide training expertise. <br /> 3. Provide one certified training class or educational class each year. <br /> 4. Have regular combined management/line staff goal- setting meetings. <br /> 5. Develop and administer a questionnaire, and follow up with meetings to discuss issues. <br /> STRATEGY 3: <br /> Develop (increase) (efficient) maintenance programs that maximize resources (directing <br /> resources where most needed). <br /> Objective 3: Increase number of blocks pruned in the Block -to -Block tree pruning program by <br /> 10% per year. <br /> Work Activities: <br /> 1.
