VEGETATION CONTROL NOTICE <br />Inspector <br />Owner: <br />Address: <br />Date: <br />Inspection Location: <br />TLN <br />Dear Property Owner: <br />We have recently received a complaint, and an inspection has con- <br />firmed, that your property contains vegetation - shrubs or trees <br />- which extend into the public way. Because such vegetation <br />constitutes a health and safety hazard, within ten (10) days of <br />the date of this letter you are required to have it pruned or <br />removed or to file a written objection to this notice with the <br />Director of Parks and Recreation stating why the vegetation is <br />not hazardous and requesting a hearing. <br />A failure to act on this notice may also subject you to prosecu- <br />tion in Municipal Court. <br />We sincerely urge that you make arrangements to have the work <br />done within the ten (10) day period. <br />However, vegetation not abataed within ten (10) days of the date <br />of this letter will be subject to being pruned or removed at the <br />direction of the City. Since the City must pay the prevailing <br />rate and charage for administration and billing, the cost for <br />this service is usually higher than if you do the work or <br />contract it yourself.
