The City and 4J agree in principle that the long term costs are to be shared approximately in <br /> proportion to use, and based on the ability of each party to obtain future funding. <br /> If a capital improvement will have a significant impact on maintenance costs, or on the <br /> allocation of maintenance costs, agreements should be reached prior to project initiation. <br /> Security during events. Responsibility of sponsor of event? <br /> Locker Room Use. <br /> Bathroom Use. Sports park will have facilities. Maintenance responsibility may be more <br /> appropriate for 4J (at least during school year), as facilities are adjacent to schools. <br /> Site Supervision. Assumed that sponsoring agency /group will be responsible for site <br /> supervision during events. However, there needs to be general accountability /accessibility of <br /> staff regarding general site conditions, hazards, crime, etc., that is easily identified and contacted <br /> by the public. <br /> Site Clean - up (for events and on a regular basis). Regular site cleanup would be the <br /> responsibility for the agency doing grounds maintenance. Event clean -up would be the <br /> responsibility of the sponsoring group /agency. <br /> Concession and Ticket Revenue. Is there a goal to use ticket/concession revenues to help <br /> support a sinking fund for maintenance /replacement? <br /> Capital Contingency and Field Surface Replacement <br /> (to the extent not covered above). <br /> Other Users. <br /> Field(s) Names. <br /> Sponsors, Signs, etc. All decisions regarding concessions items, sponsorship, advertising, etc. <br /> shall be made by the Committee. <br /> Insurance. (City, 4J, and Users) <br /> Damage. The Committee shall establish standards and reasonable protections for ensuring that <br /> the potential for misuse and damage be minimized and that the cost of repair for damage, if any, <br /> will be reasonably and responsibly addressed. <br /> Development of Complexes. 4J shall be responsible for the development and construction of <br /> the facilities at NEHS, SEHS, SHS and CHS. 4J will ensure that the City (and Users) will be <br /> actively involved in the decision - making process, especially with regard to design. <br />
