Beginning on or after August 1, 2013, dog trainers will <br /> have to provide the following written records and forms in order to obtain a permit for in -water <br /> dog training at Golden Gardens Park: <br /> 1) Apply in writing on an application form provided by the City; <br /> 2) Provide proof of current license(s) for each dog in training, <br /> 3) Provide written proof of current rabies vaccination for each dog in training, and <br /> 4) Sign a statement (on a form provided by the City) that the applicant has read, <br /> understands and agrees to the Golden Gardens In -Water Dog Training Permit <br /> • Terms and Conditions. <br /> Those applications and forms (along with a copy of the proposed administrative rule) will be <br /> made available shortly by mail to you for review and comment. <br /> Until those forms have been properly noticed, we are enclosing a revised temporary permit valid <br /> from April 20, 2013 to July 31, 2013. <br /> If you have any questions with regard to the above, you may contact Chris Phillips at <br /> 541- 682 -4908. <br /> The proposed new rules are necessary in order to maintain park standards and will allow for <br /> greater public safety (as well as the safety of the dogs in training) while increasing the enjoyment <br /> of Golden Gardens Park by the public at large. <br /> • <br />
