• <br /> 6 <br /> Not only is the L. bradshawii population larger than originally thought, but its geographic <br /> location may also provide an important link between the other populations in the West <br /> Eugene Recovery Area and the Southeastern Recovery Area. The urban nature of the <br /> area between these two recovery areas provides few other similar opportunities. <br /> VI. CONSERVATION CTIONS THAT WILL BE CARRIED OUT <br /> The Service, City, Sehee1-$istrict, NPSO, and ODA shall implement the following as allowed <br /> under laws, regulations, and policies effective at the time of the proposed actions and subject to <br /> limitations in funding. <br /> A. THE U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE SHALL: <br /> 1. Work with the City and - 8c - heel - District - to strive for eventual recovery of L. bradshawii <br /> and other rare species that may occur in the area. <br /> 2. Work with the City aid- to develop site - specific management plans for <br /> rare species and suitable habitats in the basin. <br /> 3. Provide signs, as funding becomes available, for the education of park users on social and <br /> natural history of the conservation area and importance of native species and intact <br /> ecosystems. <br /> 4. As available, provide matching funds not to exceed $3000.00 r _. or plant <br /> surveys. <br /> vv\ A <br /> 5. Provide funding and/or volunteer labor, as available, for habitat maintenance and <br /> restoration activities, including relocation of facilities. <br /> 6. Maintain current records of all surveys and monitoring projects provided by other parties. <br /> 7. Provide technical assistance to the other parties regarding the biology, ecology, and <br /> management of rare species and their habitats. <br /> B. THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE SHALL: <br /> 1.
