AUTHORITY, PURPOSE, OBJECTIVE, AND MANAGEMENT GOAL <br /> A. The authority for the Service to enter into this voluntary Conservation Agreement <br /> derives from the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended; the Fish and Wildlife <br /> Act of 1956, as amended; and the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, as amended. <br /> B. The u ose of this agreement is to formally document the intent of the parties <br /> p rP Zn' Y <br /> involved to protect and conserve (species) and their habitat at Amazon Park, Eugene, <br /> Oregon. <br /> C. The objective of this agreement is to provide a means for the protection and <br /> conservation of (species) and their habitat at Amazon Park <br /> D. The management goal of this agreement is to increase the population, suitable habitat <br /> and actual range of Lomatium bradshawii and other potentially occurring rare species <br /> in the basin. A decline of up to 35% in any one year from the baseline population <br /> level in any one year for any subpopulations will trigger management action. <br /> Declines less than 35% may be attributable to natural variation or variation in <br /> surveying, and should be monitored closely. <br /> IV. STATUS AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE SPECIES <br /> A. Bradshaw's Iomatium, Lomatium bradshawii (Rose ex Math.) Math. & Constance <br />
