GAUSMAN Hal A
From: GAUSMAN Hal A
To: PLAMONDON Scott F
Cc: ETTER John F
Subject: FW: Oak Patch meeting
Date: Wednesday, November 27, 1996 10:21 AM
Sorry , I hit the wrong button on spell check for R.O.W.
From: GAUSMAN Hal A
To: ETTER John F
Cc: PLAMONDON Scott F
Subject: Oak Patch meeting
Date: Wednesday, November 27, 1996 10:18AM
John and Scott, I met with Ted Booth and local business representives to discuss the location of picnic
tables and trees at the Oak Patch project site on 11/22/96. The location that the business representives
would like to use is on private property owned by Edward King. I expressed to the group the City could be
involved but can only plant trees within the easement area or R.O.W. They would like to see the city
supply 3 - 5 Oregon Ash that could be planted along the creek edge within the easement area. We
discussed the maintenance needs of watering the trees and how the area would be mowed. The city would
still mow what we do now and they would take care of detail areas around table and trees. No one totally
committed to watering of the trees. They are checking with Mr. King about picnic table location and will
check with us again about ordering trees in a couple weeks. Hal
Page 1
