maintenance costs to the storm water system and to flood control efforts in contrast to costs that would be <br />incurred if the parcel is developed. s <br />Floodplain/wetland - This project will have a beneficial impact on existing floodplain/wetlands on site <br />through long -term management of the resources. <br />Threatened or endangered species - This project will have beneficial impacts on threatened or endangered <br />species by enhancing habitat through long -term management. Two rare plant species Aster vialis and Cimicifuga <br />elata are found on the site. The site also provides suitable habitat for several rare animals, including the olive <br />sided fly catcher, Northern red - legged frog, Pacific pallid bat, Pacific western big -eared bat, and fiinged myotis. <br />The proposed recreation amenities planned for this site will provide protection of the most sensitive plant and <br />animal species while also offering a unique opportunity for educating the public about these rare species and <br />protection of the local watershed. <br />4).
