PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Acquisition in fee title to a 39 -acre undeveloped parcel at the East Fork <br />Amazon Headwaters in the South Hills of Eugene <br />4. PROJECT SITE /LOCATION /OWNERSHIP: <br />Site Name: East Fork Amazon Headwaters <br />Size of Property. 39.9 acres <br />Location Information: <br />USGS Quad: Creswell and Eugene East Township 18 Range 3 Section 17&20 <br />Owner: Joe Green US Congressional District: 4th <br />Oregon Legislative Districts: (H ) 11 (S) 6 <br />Site Description: The site is a 39.9 -acre undeveloped parcel located south of Dillard Road, east of East <br />Amazon Drive in the South Hills of Eugene, Oregon. It ties on the west flank of a ridge of the South <br />Hills, is forested and includes steep slopes and a diversity of interconnected habitats. The habitat <br />complex includes three streams, riparian forest, broad -leaf forested wetland, and upland mixed -fir forest <br />including stands of old growth Douglas -fir with a very intact native understory plant community. The <br />site is bounded on the east by Dillard Road, on the west by Nectar Way, and on the south by existing <br />city ark land, and would allow improved neighborhood access to the Rid eline Parks stem. <br />City/Town: Eugene <br />I County: Lane <br />DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: From Salem take I -5 south to Eugene, exiting at # 189 toward 34 Ave. Stay <br />to the right on McVay Hwy, then turn right on East 30` Ave. Follow East 30 to Hilyard Road and turn <br />left. Turn left onto East Amazon Drive. Turn left onto Dillard Road, and stay on the right side. The <br />west edge of the parcel will be to the right ending approximately at the first hairpin turn. Another way <br />to access the site is to stay on East Amazon Drive until it becomes Nectar Way, follow it to 5015 Nectar <br />Way where there is a short paved stub street that ends at the parcels east edge. <br />5.
