Street, Springfield. <br /> Eugene City Council & Willamalane Board of Directors <br /> Joint Public Hearing <br /> August 7, 1995 - - 7:30 p.m. <br /> Council Chamber - - 777 Pearl Street, Eugene Oregon <br /> On August 7, 1995 the Eugene City Council and Willamalane Board will conduct a joint <br /> public hearing on the following: <br /> DRAFT EAST ALTON BAKER PARK PLAN - - May 1995 - <br /> The primary focus of the East Alton Baker Park Plan is to identify the appropriate <br /> mix of passive recreational uses for the eastern 237 acres of Alton Baker Park. <br /> The plan also provides direction concerning park improvements, restoration <br /> activities, and on -going maintenance. Implementation of the plan will require the <br /> energy, financial resources, and commitment of numerous individuals, <br /> community organizations and groups. The City of Eugene (west of 1 -5) and <br /> Willamalane Park and Recreation District (east of 1 -5) own and manage Alton <br /> Baker Park. <br /> Public testimony may be submitted in three ways: <br /> 1. Send a written statement to the Eugene City Council & Willamalane <br /> Board. All written material to be considered by the Council & Board must <br /> be submitted to the Eugene City Manager's Office, 777 Pearl Street, <br /> Room 105, Eugene, Oregon 97401, no later than 10:00 a.m. on <br /> Wednesday, August 2, 1995. Please indicate on written testimony; "East <br /> Alton Baker Park Plan Public Hearing Item ". <br /> 2. Submit a written statement at the hearing, however, the Eugene City <br /> Council and Willamalane Board of Directors will have Tess opportunity to <br /> read it before taking action. <br /> 3. Attend the public hearing and state your concerns.
