Copies of the draft plan are available at the City of Eugene Permit and Information Center, 99 West 10th Avenue (Atrium) and Willamalane Parks Services, 3550 E. Street, Springfield. Eugene City Council & Willamalane Board of Directors Joint Public Hearing August 7, 1995 - - 7:30 p.m. Council Chamber - - 777 Pearl Street, Eugene Oregon On August 7, 1995 the Eugene City Council and Willamalane Board will conduct a joint public hearing on the following: DRAFT EAST ALTON BAKER PARK PLAN - - May 1995 - The primary focus of the East Alton Baker Park Plan is to identify the appropriate mix of passive recreational uses for the eastern 237 acres of Alton Baker Park. The plan also provides direction concerning park improvements, restoration activities, and on -going maintenance. Implementation of the plan will require the energy, financial resources, and commitment of numerous individuals, community organizations and groups. The City of Eugene (west of 1 -5) and Willamalane Park and Recreation District (east of 1 -5) own and manage Alton Baker Park. Public testimony may be submitted in three ways: 1. Send a written statement to the Eugene City Council & Willamalane Board. All written material to be considered by the Council & Board must be submitted to the Eugene City Manager's Office, 777 Pearl Street, Room 105, Eugene, Oregon 97401, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 1995. Please indicate on written testimony; "East Alton Baker Park Plan Public Hearing Item ". 2. Submit a written statement at the hearing, however, the Eugene City Council and Willamalane Board of Directors will have Tess opportunity to read it before taking action. 3. Attend the public hearing and state your concerns. Your spoken testimony will be recorded in the minutes of the hearing.
