FINNEY Kevin P
From:
FINNEY Kevin P
Sent:
Thursday, February 23, 2006 6:21 PM
To:
' brendanrelafond (Mbiggreenevents.com'
Cc:
ZUCKER Richard; MATSLER Clara T; MOULTON Debbie M; FINNEY Kevin P
Subject:
Fee scenarios for Art in the Vineyard and Freedom Fest 2006
Brendan:
I've attached the fee analyses for the three scenarios that I understand are under consideration for Art in the Vineyard
and Freedom Fest for this year. Please note that I've made the following assumptions in preparing these analyses:
• These analyses are based upon the areas that Art in the Vineyard has used in the past. If ATV or Freedom Fest (FF)
will want to control admission to the area outside of the usual ATV area, (e.g.. the Memorial Tree Garden, areas east
of the shelters, etc.) additional fees may apply.
• The 24 -hour (overnight) rental rate for both shelters will apply on the setup days, but, if takedown can be
accomplished during park hours on the last day, we will apply the single day rate for that day.
As we have discussed, ATV is the "December right" event. That is, ATV has the priority right to the 4th of July weekend
dates and we cannot issue a separate permit for FF if it overlaps with ATV. If you choose to partner with ATV we will
need to process one permit application which covers both of the events but lists ATV as the permit holder.
If you can let us know what, if any, areas outside of the ATV area that you want to include in your event, we can provide
you with an estimate of any additional fees that might apply.
I will be out of the office from 2/24 through 3/6, but will be available periodically by email. If you have questions or
comments about the fees or other issues, please contact me by email at this address and I will get back to you.
I look forward to continuing to work together to facilitate Art in the Vineyard and Freedom Fest 2006.
Kevin Finney
Parks Maintenance Manager
City of Eugene Parks and Open Space
1820 Roosevelt Blvd
Eugene, Oregon
97402
ATV.FF Fee
analysyis.06 draft....
541-682-4809
