Make no exchange; develop neighborhood park facilities on the site next to the school <br /> site: This alternative would result in a site that leaves the southeasterly portion of the subarea not <br /> served by reason of distance. The facilities provided would also duplicate in large part those <br /> provided by a future school. In addition, the approved PUD for Crescent Meadow II would need <br /> to be revised to delete the park. <br /> D. Recommendation <br /> Authorize staff to proceed with an equal area exchange of land in the Coburg- Crescent for the <br /> purpose of providing a new neighborhood park site in a location that serves a greater population. <br /> E. Timing <br /> Both staff and developer wish to proceed immediately with sidewalk construction, an obligation <br /> of the developer under the PUD permit. Sidewalk dimensions and location would be different <br /> with a park than with residential development, and the Parks Planning staff have been offered the <br /> chance to design those walks as part of the park. <br /> VI.
