That is not whet 1 thought I was voting for when I voted for parks
and open space. So many millions spent on high school athletics is
almost immoral when all students - athletic or not - need more play space
open to all, to say nothing of all the rest of the citizens of Eugene who
•
have been waiting so lord} for an opportunity to maintain current park
• facilities and acquire new ones.
•
it might be reasonable to build gm football stadium somewhere in the
city, but not four! please do what you can to see that the funds voted for
parrs and other recreation uses go for facilities open to the general
• public. Thank you.
Sinoerely,
• Doreen Jo s I Ltra
252 Foxtail Drive
•
• Eugene, OR 97405 Dts 11 TO
•
. MAVOR _
• ASSTMGR !"
