Transportation - Six -Year Funded Program <br /> Street Lighting (Residential) Install new or upgraded street lights along local streets and in residential areas. <br /> Locations are based on a priority system that incorporates crime activity, lighting <br /> needs, location and the availability of power. NOTE: This program is funded with <br /> one -time money in year one of this CIP. Program needs for years 2 - 5 remain <br /> unfunded. <br /> Plan/Policy Document: Street Light Priority List, TransPlan <br /> Total Project Cost: $30,000 <br /> Street Tree Stocking & Planting Program Plant street trees in City areas needing new trees and where street trees were removed <br /> due to damage or disease. NOTE: This program is funded with one -time money in <br /> year one of this CIP. Program needs for years 2 - 5 remain unfunded. <br /> Plan/Policy Document: TransPlan Policy, Street Tree Program, Urban Forest <br /> Management Plan <br /> Total Project Cost: 530,000 <br /> Traffic Operations Improvement Program Safety and transportation system management improvements, including adding tum <br /> lanes and bicycle lanes, median islands, safety devices, and other restriping and <br /> channelization modifications. <br /> Plan/Policy Document: TransPlan Policy, Bicycle Master Plan <br /> Total Project Cost: $360,000 <br /> Traffic Signal Installations Install new traffic signals and upgrade the traffic signal system to improve <br /> responsiveness, reduce delay, improve air quality, and facilitate multi -modal traffic <br /> flow. Locations for installing new traffic signals are based on a priority rating system <br /> that considers traffic volumes, delays, accidents, standard signal warrants and other <br /> traffic and development- dependent factors. <br /> Plan/Policy Document: Traffic Signal Priority List, TransPlan <br /> Total Project Cost: $1,200,000 <br /> Willamette Street, 11th to 13th Add street trees and islands for beautification project. Funding comes from Tree <br /> Replacement fees allocated to the Road Fund. NOTE: The amount shown is only a <br /> portion of the total project cost. Additional funding, not yet identified, will be needed. <br /> Plan/Policy Document: Downtown Plan <br /> Total Project Cost: $27,000 <br /> New Capital Facilities <br /> E.
