PROJECT DESCRIPTION: '01e) <br /> This grant proposal is to assist the City of Eugene in acquiring ownership in fee title to a 39 acre <br /> undeveloped parcel in the South Hills of Eugene. <br /> 4. PROJECT SITE/LOCATION: <br /> Site Name: East Fork Amazon Headwaters I Size of Property: 39 acres <br /> Owner. Joe Green <br /> Site Description: 39 acre undeveloped parcel 39 <br /> The site is a located south of Dillard Road, east of East Amazon Drive in the <br /> South Hills of Eugene, Oregon. It Iles on the west flank of a ridge of the South Hills, is forested and <br /> indudes steep slopes and a diversity of interconnected habitats. The habitat complex indudes two <br /> streams, riparian forest, brad -leaf forested wetland, and upland mixed -fir forest including stands of old <br /> growth Douglas -fir with a very intact native understory plant community. The site is bounded on the east <br /> by Dillard Road, on the west by Nectar Way, and on the south by existing city park land, and would allow <br /> improved neighborhood access to the Ridgeline Park system. <br /> City/Town: Eugene fCounty Lane <br /> DRMNG INSTRUCTIONS: <br /> From Salem take 1-5 south to Eugene, exiting at # 189 toward 30 Ave. Stay to the right on McVay Hwy, <br /> then tum right on East 30 Ave. Follow East 30t to Halyard Road and tum left. Tum left onto East <br /> Amazon Drive. Tum left onto Dillard Road. then take a slight left onto Old Dillard Road. The west edge <br /> of the parcel will be to the right ending approximately at the first hairpin tum. Another way to access the <br /> site Is to stay on East Amazon Drive until it becomes Nectar Way, follow it to 5015 Nectar Way where <br /> there is a short paved stub street that ends at the parcels east edge. <br />
