In response, we are providing you with a copy of a <br /> recent memo to the Mayor and City Council describing the decision - making process to date. <br /> Since it was prepared, Parks Planning staff have tentatively scheduled a park development <br /> planning process for Rasor Park, to begin later this year. This process will include an extensive <br /> public involvement component and will be aimed at identifying the best use of the site's natural <br /> and recreation resources. Until an accepted development plan is in place, no additional planting <br /> will be allowed and, with the exception of this year's Cruise -In, no additional events will be held <br /> at the site. <br /> We will hold a preliminary issue scoping workshop in September. Your name has been added to <br /> an interested parties list, and you will be notified of upcoming public meetings. <br />
