Ellis, <br /> CSO Jack Backes, David Tobin, Dean Schlecht, Bob Richards, <br /> I. Introductions <br /> II. Approval of Minutes from January 11, 05 meeting <br /> A comment was made regarding the list of those present at meetings, that perhaps the <br /> list was not representative of those in attendance. As a reminder, if you are in <br /> attendance at meetings, you will be listed as present only if you sign in on the <br /> attendance sheet. Thank you. <br /> III. Downtown, Monroe and Scobert Park - Response Component of SARA <br /> Model was begun. (See attached notes.) The group came up with a list of possible <br /> solutions, short and long term goals, also listed were the possible impacts, negative <br /> and positive, these goals may produce. The group was then asked to rank these <br /> solutions in order to choose a few to begin work on. The group decided to wait until <br /> there was a larger body present. We were asked to keep in mind that the Friends of <br /> Monroe Park have been working on these issues a long time and they may have <br /> input about certain short term solutions. Some of the short term goals listed are <br /> already happening. A mediation process has been requested by one group of <br /> neighbors around Monroe Park. A representative from the neighborhood group will <br /> report next month on the status of the mediation. <br /> IV. a. Street Level Issues /Problem Solving - Nothing new <br /> b. New Issues - Ofc. Ellis and CSO Jack Backes from the West University <br /> Public Safety Station, came to the group looking for ideas, support and any <br /> assistance in dealing with Victoria Adkins, a homeless woman who has a long <br /> history around the U of 0 campus. Discussion and some possible solutions were <br /> brought up by the group. <br /> V. Other/Info Share - Buckley House has submitted a CDBG grant to fund another <br /> Secure room which will greatly benefit the community by enabling Buckley to turn <br /> away CAHOOTS and EPD less often. <br /> VI. Next CRT OPS meeting to be held March 8, 2005, 2 to 3:30 pm. JRH <br /> Conference Room, Eugene Police Department. Refreshments will be provided. <br />
