CITY OF EUGENE <br /> INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS <br /> RFP No. 99 -0023 <br /> Proposals for Hendricks Park Forested Area Management Plan for the City of Eugene Public <br /> Works Maintenance will be accepted by Carol Case, Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Section, <br /> 860 West Park, Suite 300, Eugene, Oregon 97401 until 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, <br /> 1998. Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter and publicly read aloud. Proposals <br /> received after the stated time will not be considered. <br /> Copies of the specifications and Request for Proposal documents are available at the <br /> Purchasing Section Office. <br /> Work includes Hendricks Park Forested Area Management Plan. <br /> Each proposal must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as <br /> defined in ORS 279.029. <br /> No proposal will be accepted by the City unless it contains a statement by the bidder as a part <br /> of the proposal that the bidder in carrying out the contract will comply with all applicable laws. <br /> The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding <br /> procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals or waive any <br /> specification or requirement upon a finding of the City it is in the public interest to do so. <br /> Dated September 2, 1998 <br /> Carol K.
