August 14, 1997
TO: Chris Andersen
FROM: J. R. Medlin f
SUBJECT: Proposed Land Donation at Hawkins View PUD
Please find three copies of an agreement between RDT Development Inc. and the City relating to
a proposed donation of existing and created wetlands at Hawkins View PUD. I believe this
document is ready for execution by the City.
This developer proposed donation has been reviewed by the INRT group resulting in an "accept"
recommendation. Parks Planning staff feel the inclusion of these lands adjacent to the negotiated
neighborhood park would be beneficial both for the natural resources benefit and as an addition
access point into the neighborhood scale park.
I have attached a color coded copy of the map Exhibit which I feel better explains the
relationship between what we are purchasing and what is being proposed for donation. The
major condition contained in the agreement is that the City will not accept the created wetlands
until the regulatory agencies have agreed there is no further work required.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
cc: Bob Hammitt
97 -44415
