EUGENE, OR 97401 • 503 - 687 -1101 <br /> FAX 503 - 687 -1491 <br /> May 14, 1992 <br /> Mr. John Etter <br /> Chief Landscape Architect <br /> Eugene Parks and Recreation Department <br /> 210 Cheshire <br /> Eugene, Or_ 97401 <br /> RE: Golden Gardens land exchange <br /> Dear Mr. Etter: <br /> In response to our May 1, 1992 meeting with Lee Beyer, the <br /> Eugene Industrial Development advisor ,and yourself concerning <br /> the proposed exchange of tax lot 200 for a portion of tax <br /> lot 103: In order to assist the City to achieve their goal <br /> to provide a public park near Jessen Street, my client, the <br /> owner, proposes we exchange up to five acres of tax lot 103 <br /> for tax lot 200 which we will incorporate with tax lots 100, <br /> 300 and 2700 which is to be developed as a golf course_ <br /> We request that the exchange be subject to the City removing <br /> all restrictive and reversion clauses from the deed <br /> concerning the use of tax lot 200. <br /> We further request the exchange be subject to the City <br /> providing any ecological studies on tax lot 200 that may be <br /> required by the County for the approval of a special use <br /> permit for development of the golf course_ <br /> As our part of the exchange the developers of the golf <br /> course will complete land clearing, leveling, and surface <br /> drainage contouring of the park area at the time when the <br /> golf course is developed, and will also plant areas <br /> designated by the City with like -kind grass seed used on the <br /> golf course. <br /> The developer's work on tax lot 103 shall not exceed the <br /> difference between the appraised value of tax lot 200 and <br /> that of tax lot 103. <br /> t I <br />
