Wright purchase dwelling & property September 1970
• 1972 winter ice storm brought down many small trees on border edge of
property. Keith Wright removed all of the debris at his expense and Park
officials were notified by neighbors, visited site and concurred it was
saving the city Parks many dollars and I could remove the debris as well
as the blackberries and underbrush. I installed the water features in both the back and front of
house.
• In 1995 the City of Eugene decided to survey the boundaries of the park
and I entered into a 5 year contract which I understood could be renewed
for the improvements with Richard A. Morgan who was the Park
Operations Manager for the city of Eugene. After paying $500.00 for the
cost of drawing up the contract and a small amount went for rent, I was
allowed to keep the improvements. I phoned several times to renew the
agreement and I was informed that Mr. Morgan was no
