I'm at a loose as to what Parks wants and what we can do. Can <br /> you get involved and help staff work through this situation. <br /> We voluntarily meet with Russ and Carolyn to see what the city wanted. <br /> In that meeting we were happy to find out that our proposed development would help the <br /> City achieve 2 of the 3 City goals. <br /> 1. Create a southern pedestrian access, (Our connection of Pool Street w/ Crenshaw - public <br /> sidewalk) 2. Increase park visibility and frontage (Continuation of street provides a <br /> street edge (sidewalk) along the park versus just the dead end width of Right of Way) 3. <br /> Create a 3 to 4 space parking lot. My client is not opposed to a parking lot for the Park. <br /> The location City staff wants for achieving this last goal does not seem to be the best <br /> location. <br /> If we can not quickly come to an agreement, I feel that I'll need to recommend to my <br /> client that they withdraw as part of this project the construction (at developer expense) <br /> of the continuation of the portion street across the S W corner of this City Park.
