MINUTES <br />Citizen Planning Committee for the Whilamut Natural Area of Alton Baker Park <br />Sloat Conference Room — Atrium Building -99 West 10` Avenue <br />Eugene, Oregon <br />January 22, 2009 <br />6 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Steve Cooper, Chair; Dennis Ernst, Vice Chair; Jeff Ard, Charlotte Behm, Charles Biggs, <br />Theresa Brand, William Hughes, Cora Jones, Charlene Larison, Vicky Mello, Mary Mor- <br />rison, Sally Nunn, David Sonnichsen, members; Philip Richardson, Eugene Parks and <br />Open Space Division; Greg Hyde, Willamalane Park and Recreation District; Dick Upton, <br />Oregon Department of Transportation, guest. <br />ABSENT: Barbara May, Susan Reddoor <br />Review and Adjust Agenda <br />Mr. Cooper called the meeting of the Citizen Planning Committee (CPC) for the Whilamut Natural Area <br />to order. He reviewed the agenda, and mentioned that an emailed agenda revision had moved Dick <br />Upton's Presentation up in the order of the agenda. <br />2. Introductions <br />Those present introduced themselves. <br />3. Public Comment <br />There was no member of the public who wished to offer comment. <br />4. Approval of Minutes <br />Mr. Cooper said that Ms. Mello had indicated that the name "Eastgate" had been misspelled in the <br />minutes of October 16, 2008. Mr. Richardson noted that Mr. Sonnichsen had also identified that error in <br />the changes he e- mailed. <br />Ms. Brand, seconded by Mr. Sonnichsen, moved to approve the minutes of October 16, <br />2008, as amended. The motion passed unanimously. <br />9. New Business <br />b.
