The Applicant's Public Works Department, EOC, and call -taker staff used labor, materials, and <br /> equipment to receive calls and dispatch work crews for emergency work: work crews were out <br /> responding to trees down on roads, installing portable generators at the street lights to insure that they <br /> were working properly, assisingt the 911 center by answering phone calls, and dispatching fire <br /> department personnel to storm related calls including vehicle accidents, power lines down, falls from the <br /> ice and other emergencies due to the storm.
