When the <br /> approved estimate of eligible costs for an individual project is greater than <br /> $120,000 (large project), distribution of the federal share is available upon review <br /> of actual cost documentation. Since this project was 100% complete when written, <br /> actual cost documentation was included in the PW, so further documentation is not <br /> required for payment. Enclosed is a copy of the Payment Request form that must <br /> be completed and submitted to our office to request funds <br /> In accordance with the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act of 2013, the Federal <br /> Emergency Management Agency is implementing alternative procedures for the <br /> Public Assistance (PA) Program through a pilot program. As a Public Assistance <br /> Subgrantee, you have elected to participate in the Alternative Procedures Pilot <br /> Program for Debris Removal, in which you have selected the following procedures: <br /> • Accelerated Debris Removal Incentive. This PW covers debris removal <br /> activities from day 0 -30 (2/6/14- 3/8/14) after the start of the incident date <br /> reimbursable at the authorized 85% Federal share. A version to this PW for <br /> additional costs incurred for debris removal activities in the 31 — 90 day <br /> period (reimbursable at 80% Federal share) will be forth coming. <br /> • Reimbursement of straight time force account labor costs for debris removal <br /> Although this is a federal disaster, certain federal, state and local laws still apply. <br /> The applicant is responsible for complying with these laws. Additionally, the PW <br /> may contain certain conditions that must be met. Please make note of the Record <br /> of Environmental Consideration (REC) page included in your packet and insure <br /> appropriate documentation is provided prior to closeout, including any necessary <br /> permits, licenses or approvals.
