<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />July 18, 2014 <br /> <br />CONTACT: John Bonham, Project Manager, 541-682-5300 <br /> <br />From Public Information Section, 541-682-5523 or 541-954-2938 <br /> <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> <br />Traffic Advisory <br />Ferry Street Bridge Viaduct Repairs Continue This Weekend <br />Significant lane detours will begin at 7 p.m. today on the Ferry Street Bridge as paving repair work <br />continues through the weekend. <br />This weekend the work will focus on the northbound right lane of the roadway between the south end of <br />the bridge and the Fourth Avenue on- and off-ramps. Northbound traffic will be shifted to one of the lanes on the <br />west side of the bridge, and traffic across the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Saturday <br />afternoon, northbound traffic will be shifted back to the east side of the bridge, but only one lane will be open for <br />northbound traffic across the bridge. During work on the northbound lanes, the Fourth Avenue on- and off-ramps <br />will be closed. <br />All work will be completed and all lanes reopened by 6:15 a.m. Monday, July 21. <br />Motorists are cautioned to slow down, leave plenty of stopping distance and watch for signs as they <br />approach the lane detours.
