INTRODUCTIONS AND AGENDA REVIEW <br /> Those present introduced themselves. The agenda was deemed complete. <br /> II. PROBLEM STATEMENT /BACKGROUND PRESENTATION <br /> Mr. Taylor stated this meeting was an outgrowth of the last Wetland Executive Team (WET) meeting in <br /> which there was discussion around the growth of the partnership in the work it did, the plans collaborated <br /> on, and projects and programs that that had grown well beyond the West Eugene Wetlands (WEW). He <br /> opined there may be an opportunity to look at the partnership to determine if it was facing growing pains <br /> and if there was a need to adjust the charter or structure. Currently, many activities undertaken were not <br /> WEW activities. <br /> Mr. Taylor distributed the following documents: <br /> • Statement of Partnership. <br /> • WEW Charter Discussion Background Information 9/4/08 <br /> • Map: Rivers to Ridges— Metropolitan Regional Parks and Open Space Study Vision May June <br /> 2003. <br /> • E -mail from Joe Moll, dated September 4, 2008, Subject: WET Meeting, time, location, and <br /> materials. <br /> Mr. Taylor offered a PowerPoint presentation that highlighted the following topics: <br /> • Need Statement, Partnership Goals. <br /> • Rivers to Ridges Vision. <br /> • Ridgeline Area Open Space Vision and Action Plan. <br /> • Metropolitan Waterways Study. <br /> Mr. Taylor said today's task was to brainstorm and discuss if and what the WET might do to improve the <br /> organizational structure and/or partnership charter to bring the programs, and project plans to fruition <br /> MINUTES Wetland Executive Team September 4, 2008 Page 1 <br />
