be <br /> JOINT SCHOOL - PARK AGREEMENT <br /> SHASTA BALLFIELD COMPLEX <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT 52 <br /> ON THE USE, MAINTENANCE AND PROGRAMMING OF THE SHASTA BALLFIELD COMPLEX. <br /> 1. The Parks and Recreation Department will be responsible for the <br /> following: <br /> a. Design and construction until the complex is completed. <br /> b. Make all irrigation repairs as they are necessary through the year. <br /> c. Maintain the lighting system in good order and pay all bills for <br /> their operation, except for school related uses. <br /> d. Maintain a security system and provide keys, as necessary, to <br /> school district. <br /> e. Ballfield summer infield maintenance and spraying of infields. <br /> f. Provide adequate signing of complex. <br /> g. Will design and build school district storage area with their <br /> funds. <br /> h. Will be responsible for summer scheduling, beginning on May 1 <br /> and ending on August 31. All other scheduling will be done by <br /> the school district. <br /> 2. School District 52 will be responsible for the following: <br /> a. Mow all grass areas all year long as required, but should be <br /> weekly in the summer. <br /> b. Fertilize and spray all year long. <br /> c, Pay lighting bill on an hourly basis for school related activities. <br /> d. Repair or restore field areas to good condition after football <br /> season ends. <br />
