More than 50 applications were received from which 17 individuals were selected. <br /> Selection was based on a membership mix that was reviewed and approved by the City's Citizen <br /> Involvement Committee. The following people have been selected to serve on the committee: <br /> Houseless /park user appointees -- Judy Granatstein, Neal Berry, Sis Anderson, 4 <br /> Local business appointees -- Richard Filloy, Susan Detroy <br /> West Blair neighborhood appointees -- Cheryl Reinhart, Catherine Davenport, Bruce Stockton, 4 <br /> Social service provider appointees -- 1, 2 <br /> Immediate park neighbor appointees -- Jim Reed, Douglas Ebbitt <br /> Horticulture appointee -- Alan True <br /> Voters pool appointees -- Donald Tenbrook, Sandra Tilcock <br /> The first meeting of the advisory committee will be Tuesday, October 29, at 7 p.m. in the large <br /> conference room at Public Works Maintenance, 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard. This meeting will give <br /> committee members a chance to meet each other and get to know staff and the facilitators. At this <br /> meeting, the committee will decide future meeting locations, frequency, days, and times. Before each <br /> meeting we will send an agenda and any other appropriate materials to you at the address listed at the top <br /> of this letter. Please advise me immediately if you would like to have committee materials sent to a <br /> different address.
