As much as possible we will respond directly to your <br /> recommendations. In some cases we may need to forward your ideas to the City Council or <br /> other boards and commissions, as appropriate. <br /> We have appointed key staff people to work with the committee, and we encourage you to <br /> work with these staff members to get the information you need to make your <br /> recommendations. We are also providing the committee with the services of a team of trained <br /> facilitators to assist you in the process of gathering information, discussing alternatives, and <br /> formulating recommendations. <br /> We ask that you complete your discussions and make your recommendations by February 1, <br /> 1997 so that any appropriate action plans can be implemented beginning next spring. <br /> Thank you again for your willingness to participate in this important community effort. We will <br /> assist you in every way possible, and we look forward to receiving your recommendations. <br />
