HAMMITT Bob
From: LYLE Les A
To: HAMMITT Bob; BREMER Richard B; BRETT Tom A; ANDERSEN Chris F
Cc: NORRIS Linda H
Subject: Scobert
Date: Thursday, September 26, 1996 12:44PM
By tomorrow afternoon, Linda would like a recommendation from the five of us on where to replace the
fence (prior location, new location, or one consistent with the committee recommendation - along the
gravel path and encircling the turf area that needs to be restored between the path and the playground).
She also wants a recommendation as to the material type eg. same as before, more substantial, or more of
the type we use during construction to protect trees eg plastic. I think she is leaning towards the less
substantial but ... Finally, if you have heard any feedback from the neighborhood that would support any
of the alternatives and hopefully allow the fence to stay in place for the duration, that would be helpful in
supporting whatever way we go.
I know through Bob Hammitt that getting cyclone fencing will be at least a two week proposition due to
unavailability of a contractor to do the work. So, that is our charge. Please talk to one another and see if
there is concensious and rational on a direction you'd like to recommend. Thanks Les L
Page 1
