The ad was designed to reach a broad audience, including potential representatives from the West Blair neighborhood, local businesses, social service providers, and people with a horticultural background. • Fliers (sample attached) were posted September 27 in a number of locations in the Whiteaker neighborhood. The fliers, in English and Spanish, were designed to reach local residents, immediate park neighbors, and members of the houseless constituency. • A letter and committee application form (samples attached) were mailed September 27 to approximately 2,200 residents and property owners in the West Blair area. The application form also has been translated into Spanish. The mailing was designed to reach West Blair residents, immediate park neighbors, and local businesses. • Staff is in the process of telephoning members of the voters' pool to solicit applications from that group.
