Note to Scobert Park DAC File
October 2, 1996
On September 30, 1996, Judy Gratenstein attempted to contact Chris Andersen regarding Scobert
Park. The call was referred to me for response.
Judy's concern was the definition of "houseless ". She said it was agreed on at the meeting that
this category was designed to represent a variety of different interests including, frequent park
users or renters. Her concern was that having four homeless people would skew the committee
and was too many. She was also concerned that some people don't fit into any category, such as
herself. She felt if the houseless category was used to accommodate frequent park users that
would address the concern.
She also stated that she was concerned about this size of the committee, keeping the committee
down to 12 people would be more manageable.
She said she talked to Scott Meisner about this issue and he shared the same concerns.
Judy indicated she was extremely pleased because we did the mass mailings to all residents in the
area and did several postings in the area.
A. w • -1-d a-o 1. g J K ,
