In addition, postings were placed at Icky's, The Red Barn, and Sam Bond's Garage. We plan to do a couple more postings in the next few days. A display add was placed in the September 28th Register Guard. Public Works Maintenance phone number was listed as the contact. At this point, we have only received one phone call related to this public process. We now have a total of 28 people that have filled out applications indicating some level of interest in the committee process. That includes all the people that had previously filled out sheets of paper at the neighborhood meeting. The fence went up this morning without incident and is still in tact as of this time. I have asked my night supervisor, JJ Hill, to make it a point to drive by Scobert Park several times during each night to monitor any activity that might be occurring around the fence. If he notices anybody attempting to remove the fence, he will notify the Department of Public Safety immediately. Stay tuned for additional updates. Page 1
