FOR COUNCIL NEWSLETTER 10/1/93 <br /> CASCADES RAPTOR CENTERS PROPOSAL FOR THE FOX HOLLOW HOUSE <br /> Louise Shimmel, President of Cascades Raptor Care Center, has submitted an <br /> amendment to her proposal for the development of a Raptor Rehab. & Nature <br /> Interpretive Center at 32275 Fox Hollow Road. This amendment is basically a <br /> purchase proposal which asks the City for several special provisions. The <br /> proposal has been reviewed by staff and seems to resolve the concerns held <br /> regarding the original proposal. Since this proposal is outside of the normal <br /> property disposition process the proposal is being forwarded to the City <br /> Attorney's office for an opinion on the associated legal issues and process <br /> needing to occur to bring this issue before the City Council for <br /> consideration. <br /> Depending on the time needed by the City Attorney's office, staff expect to <br /> make a request at Oct. 18th Council Officer's meeting for this item to be <br /> placed on a future Council Agenda for discussions /action.
