University of Oregon's School of Architecture in its design, which should also help us fmd grants to fmance
it. The driveway needs to be widened, or some wide spots added for passing cars, and a second parking area
developed. A debilitated shed needs to be moved, renovated, destroyed or converted to a display cage or
restrooms. Further display cages are needed as our resident population grows; it continues to be our goal to
provide visitors the opportunity to view representatives of all our northwest species of raptors.
REQUEST: CRC is very appreciative of the support provided by the City. The fmancing to date has made it
possible for us to provide important services, which the community clearly appreciates and supports. We are
requesting that the City remain in partnership with CRC in realizing the remainder of our shared goals, by
converting the balance of the contract amount (approximately $95,000) to fmancing payable at $500 /month
and 3%% interest per annum (the current terms), which would pay off in approximately 23 years. The interest
rate was determined by the City Council's request that the contract should be `revenue neutral' to the city.
As we discussed, CRC will continue to pay the City $500 monthly until our request has been decided.
Enclosed is a check for $500 for February.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding when a meeting can be scheduled to discuss our request.
Sincerely,
Louise A.
