The
only person who has put any effort In to promoting, building, and generating new
riders Is Scott Snook. The man who's ability to run a BMX track, is being
questioned, is a pillar in the ABA BMX track operator community, for his
promotional efforts and ideas.
I think the Parks Department would be making a huge mistake if they were to
replace Scott with any other management. We believe Scott Is doing a great Job
and we would hate to see his efforts in promoting BMX discouraged In any way.
The sanction agreement on Emerald Valley BMX belongs to Scott Snook and will
not be transferred to anyone Scott does not approve. The other group of parents
that are causing all the problems for Scott have never operated a BMX facility.
The complaints lodged against Scott with the Parts Department were placed
only to hurt Scott Snook's standing with your agency.
I hope thls letter will renew the Parks Departments faith in the abilities of Scott
Snook and I assure you, if Scott Snook were doing a bad job we would be the
first to let you know.
Sincerely,
Bernard Anderson
Vice President
American Bicycle Association
P.O.
