silly in light of Eugene Decisions and Ballot Measure 5.
1 have contacted a few city councillors and invited each to tour the
park with me to see first hand the damage being done. This may not be
practical. It is important however that some arrangement be made to tour
this area to see what impact 18 months of off -leash use has had on this
unique park. At this point 4 or 5 months of rest may prevent the city
from sinking thousands of more dollars that it does not have. Public
Works has made It plain that they will not make a tough decision without
City Council direction. 1 think you are aware that this issue will be before
the city for some time to come unless the "process" that was begun some
18 months ago is allowed to work as intended.
Sincerely,
Paul Rabis
cc. Chris Andersen Public Works Dept.
