Gain new programming skills and increase programming work in order to better serve <br /> POS. <br /> 2. Obtain the skills needed qualify for an Application Systems Analyst position at the City of <br /> Eugene. <br /> Recommendations: <br /> • Discuss classes that will help meet objective with Justin White and Loring Hummel. <br /> • Research and select classes or conferences that will help meet objective (.net, c- sharp, <br /> etc.). <br /> • Work with supervisor to set up meeting with Loring Hummel to discuss the possibility of <br /> involvement in his new ASA mentorship program. <br /> Objective: <br /> 1. Increase collaboration and information sharing among IT staff at the Roosevelt Yard in <br /> order to increase knowledge level and find possible areas for collaboration or sharing of <br /> best practices. <br /> 2. Strengthen connection with the work of POS in order to better serve the division. <br /> Recommendations: <br /> • Schedule a monthly or quarterly Roosevelt Yard IT staff meeting to share information <br /> and discuss areas for collaboration. <br /> • Regularly attend POS team meeting in order to determine IT needs. <br /> • At least four times a year, schedule a ride along with a POS employee to learn more <br /> about the current work of POS and possible areas for greater IT support. <br /> Objective: <br /> 1. Create a more usable office space <br /> Recommendations: <br /> • Brainstorm ways to create a wall -type space in current location and share with <br /> supervisor. <br /> • Brainstorm additional furniture, space, etc. needed to create a more usable office <br /> environment and share with supervisor. <br />
