Thanks! <br /> I wanted to send you some information about the strategic planning meeting that your are scheduled to attend on Monday <br /> November 13th at 2nd and Chambers. <br /> Here is a list of your assignments <br /> 1. Update status (completed, working on it, modified or dropped) of the projects on the project matrix- attachment below, <br /> - Division Manager Lead <br /> 2. Develop a list of projects that we will use to make a new matrix - Division Manager Lead <br /> 3. Think about the trends and issues that exist in our operating environment that might have impact our organization. <br /> Some examples could include, retiring employees in key positions, new legislature or regulations, increasing material <br /> costs, aged infrastructure etc.. Be prepared to discuss why or how these conditions or issues will or could <br /> potentially impact the department. ( have included some work sheets that you can use to organize your thoughts. All <br /> Meeting Goals <br /> Provide a chance for people to work with staff outside of their Divisions and Work sections. <br /> Work to mutual agreement and understanding of 2 or 3 key strategic goals for the PW Department <br /> Communicate key Division projects that people will work on regardless of constraints.
