NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> Section 1. Based upon the above findings which are adopted herein, the <br /> Council wishes to go on record as supporting the declaration of May 1991 as <br /> National Wetlands Month and to encourage participation by citizens of the <br /> city and state in the full range of scheduled events. <br /> Section 2. Following its adoption by the Council, copies of this resolu- <br /> tion shall be distributed to the President of the United States, all members <br /> of Congress representing the people of the State of Oregon and to the Gover- <br /> nor of the State of Oregon. <br /> The foregoing Resolution adopted this 24th day of April, 1991. <br /> City Recorder <br />
