The standards contained in this section shall be utilized in the <br /> development of a Street Tree Plan in order to ensure that new trees planted on public land and <br /> along street rights -of- -way are of the highest quality, require low maintenance, and do not interfere <br /> with public safety. <br /> 2. The species of trees to be planted must be selected <br /> • from the Approved Street Tree Species List attached as Appendix <br /> herein by reference, or be otherwise specifically approved by the Ur an Forester. <br /> 3.
