Describe the method(s) the applicant will implement to ensure maintenance <br /> establishment, protection, watering and initial structural pruning of the•trees takes lace. <br /> applicants electing to proceed under Eugene Code 7.280(3)(b), p For <br /> O(b) <br /> the method(s) shall include: , and R- 7.280 -B(1) of these rules, <br /> 7.1 A three -year schedule of maintenance to be provided, including the name <br /> of the maintenance company or provider, name -of the employee responsible for providing <br /> maintenance, contact number, and the dates, times and amount of water scheduled to be <br /> provided to each tree. <br /> 7.2 A schedule of the initial structural pruning to be provided, includin the <br /> name of an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist or an � g <br /> approved by the Cityts Urban Forester. who will be performing the work, their contact <br /> number, and the date the work is scheduled to be provided for each tree. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 7.3 Annual provision of records to the Urban Forester documenting <br /> performance of initial. structural pruning and maintenance, showing who performed the <br /> work, the dates, times and amount of water provided each tree. <br /> 8. Contain such other information as may be required to reflect how the Plan <br /> addresses the remaining policies within the UFNiP. <br /> R- 7.280 -D Street Standard <br /> 1. Compliance. The standards contained in this section shall be utilized in the <br /> development of a Street Tree Plan in order to ensure that new trees planted on public land and <br /> along street rights -of- -way are of the highest quality, require low maintenance, and do not interfere <br /> with public safety. <br /> 2. Irge_Selmiku.standards. The species of trees to be planted must be selected <br /> • from the Approved Street Tree Species List attached as Appendix <br /> herein by reference, or be otherwise specifically approved by the Ur an Forester. <br /> 3. Street Tree Quality Standards at Time of Planting. <br /> 3.1 The tree shall have a straight trunk perpendicular to the ground with a <br /> minimum branching height at 4' above the ground for trees 1.5" in caliper to a minimum <br /> of 6' above the ground for trees 2" in caliper. <br /> 3.2 Trees shall be grown to the standards and specifications of the American <br /> Association of Nurserymen, American Standard for Nursery Stock, currently in use <br /> Administrative Order - 10 <br />
