When abutting an adjacent parcel, the wall may be placed <br /> along the interior lot line. <br /> 2. 1 canopy tree is required per 30 linear feet of wall. <br /> 3. 4 high shrubs or vines are required per 30 linear feet of wall, and <br /> 4. Living plant material must cover a minimum of 70 percent of the <br /> required landscape area within 5 years of planting. (See Figure <br /> 9.6210(4) High Wall Landscape (L - 4).) <br /> (b) Criteria for Adjustment. This standard may be adjusted if consistent with <br /> the criteria of EC 9.8030(3Xe). <br /> (5) Partial Screen Fence Landscape Standard (L <br /> (a) Required materials. Partial Screen Fence Landscape Standard (L-5) <br /> requires the installation and maintenance of fences at least 6 feet high with <br /> a maximum height of 8 feet that are at least 50 percent site - obscuring, such <br /> as a cyclone fence with slats. Vines are permitted on fences to fulfill the <br /> requirement for a screening fence provided they will be 50 percent site- <br /> obscuring within 5 years of planting. Fences may be made of wood, metal, <br /> masonry, or other permanent materials. (See Figure 9.6210(5) Partial <br /> Screen Fence Landscape (L <br /> (b) Criteria for Adjustment. This standard may be adjusted if consistent with <br /> the criteria of EC 8030(3Xf). <br /> (6) Full Screen Fence Landscape Standard (L <br /> (a) Required Materials. Full Screen Fence Landscape Standard (L-6) requires <br /> the installation and maintenance of fences at least 6 feet high with a <br /> maximum height of 8 feet that are 100 percent site - obscuring. Fences may <br /> be made of wood, metal, masonry or other permanent materials. (See <br /> Figure 9.6210(6) Full Screen Fence Landscape (L - 6).) <br /> (b) Criteria for Adjustment. This standard may be adjusted if consistent with <br /> the criteria of EC 9.8030(3Xg). <br /> (7) Massed Landscape Standard (L <br /> (a) Required materials. Massed Landscape Standard (L-7) requires the <br /> installation and maintenance of all of the following: <br /> 1. Planting linear or non - linear vegetation listed in subparagraphs 2 <br /> through 5 of this subsection along the full length of the designated <br /> landscape area. <br /> 2. 2 canopy trees per 100 linear feet along arterial and collector streets; <br /> 3. 5 under -story trees per 100 linear feet along arterial and collector <br /> streets. <br /> 4. 60 shrubs per 100 linear feet along arterial and collector streets; and <br /> 5. Living plant materials covering a minimum of 70 percent of required <br /> landscape area within 5 years of planting. <br /> (b) Criteria for Adjustment.
